Delicious & Nutritious

I recently saw a nutritionist and was introduced to Deliciously Ella (plant based, vegan food blogger & goddess) and made the decision to buy a Nutri Bullet. It’s been quite a healthy adventure and I’m already seeing the benefits of a better diet.

In all honesty I don’t really like “health” foods, ate too much processed food, sugar, wheat and caffeine. Since January I have cut out caffeine and alcohol (and I don’t miss them at all). I’ve reduced my sugar right down to natural sugars, this has been the hardest thing to give up for me because I have such a sweet tooth. Although I am finding that it has had a big impact on my mood to have a more steady release of energy and more constant blood sugar levels. I have pretty much eliminated wheat from my diet as it caused me bloating and IBS-type symptoms and whilst I still have dairy in my diet I am making lifestyle changes slowly.

One day I hope I will make the shift towards a vegan diet, but it steps in the right direction for now.
