I am working hard at home to practice mindfulness and meditation and my yoga really helps with this. Hatha yoga really helps with my relaxation and feeling centred. Whilst ashtanga gives me a more strenuous workout with more physically challenging postures.
Focusing on my breathing and the postures clears my head and really helps keep me balanced. Working through the sequences helps me connect with the universe every morning, it’s like checking in after a good sleep, to say “hello, I’m here, I exist, and I’m grateful for the gift of life”.
I also drink yogi tea every morning, I love that the tags has little words of wisdom written on them, today’s was:
